GLASS Food or beverage containers, clear, green, & brown only, all Caps/lids to be discarded.

 

ALUMINUM 100% cans, clean aluminum foil sheets and AluminumPie plates.

                               

TIN CANS Steel and tin plated, NOT necessary to remove labels.                                                     

 

P         PLASTIC Clear plastic containers (PETE, #1) e.g. soft drink, salad dressing bottles, peanut butter jars. Translucent colored container (HDPE, #2) e.g. milk, juice, water jugs, plastics with symbols #3,#4,#5,#6,#7.  All caps and lids to be discarded. Plastic toys are not accepted. 

                               

     CARDBOARD Flattened and placed in recycling container. Cereal Boxes (paperboard) accepted.                                        

 

NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES- Placed in recycling container.

 

PHONE BOOKS - Placed in recycling container.                                                   

 

 

M       Materials NOT Accepted: Household garbage, Styrofoam including egg cartons, Microwave Trays, Mirrors, Window or Auto Glass, Light Bulbs, Ceramics, Porcelain, Plastics unnumbered, plastic bags, Coat hangers, Glass cookware, Household items such as cooking pots, toasters, etc., dry cell batteries and rechargeable batteries.

 

       Rechargeable Batteries and Cell Phones:   Can be recycled at Town Hall and Allamuchy Elementary School through the Call 2 Recycle Program. 

Recycling Container: Up to 3 containers (32 or 45 gallons) curbside. Extra recycling decal available at Town Hall.

Orange Recycling Stickers: To be placed on your calendar as a reminder for recycling day.
