The Allamuchy Township Dog Park (ADP) provides a safe, designated area for registered members to enjoy off-leash recreation with their dogs. The park features separate areas for small and large dogs, seasonal lighting, and waste disposal stations. The facility is open to Allamuchy residents and registered guests, who comply with the park's membership requirements and rules.

Hours of Operation
  • Spring/Summer: Sunrise to Sunset
  • Fall/Winter: Opens at 8:30 a.m. Lights on from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (No one permitted after 8:00 p.m.)
  • Closures: The park may close without notice for maintenance or inclement weather.

Membership & Registration

Membership is required to use the Dog Park. Dog park registration is a separate process from the Township's animal licensing and must be completed in addition to obtaining a municipal animal license.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Dogs must be at least 6 months old and neutered or spayed.
  • Proof of a current municipal dog license and completed veterinarian form with verification of required vaccinations must be provided.
  • Membership is non-transferrable, and sharing the gate code is strictly prohibited.
How to Join:
  1. Complete the required forms — see the Rules & Forms section below to download all forms.
  2. Pay the membership fee — $25 for the first dog, and $5 for each additional dog. Payment is made directly to the Dog Park Commissioners.
  3. Receive email notifications — the Commissioners will contact you once your application has been received and accepted.

Important: All dog park applications and payments must be submitted to the Allamuchy Township Municipal Building.
