Allamuchy Green Team

The Allamuchy Green Team is a town committee actively working to promote a culture of sustainability in Allamuchy and its surrounding areas. When one thinks of being “Green,” they usually think about the environment. Sustainability encompasses much more than helping to preserve our natural resources. At its most basic definition, sustainability is meeting today’s needs without impacting the ability of future generations to meet their own needs in the areas of the environment (natural resources), people (community, standard of living, education), and the economy (cost savings, economic growth).
