Land Use Board
The Land Use Board meets as needed on the 4th Thursday monthly (except in November and December) at 7:30 PM. These meetings are open to the public.
The Land Use Board has powers and jurisdiction in accordance with the Municipal Land Use Law (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq.), to include:
- Make, adopt, and amend, as necessary a Master Plan for the physical development of the Township
- Administer the subdivision and site plan review process
- Hear and decide applications for conditional uses
- Participate in the preparation and review of programs or plans required by state or federal law or regulation
- Assemble data on a continuing basis as part of a continuous planning process
- Prepare a program of municipal capital improvements projects projected over a term of six years, as requested by the Township Council
- Consider and report to the Township Council as to any proposed development regulation, in accordance with the ordinance
- Perform advisory duties as assigned by ordinance or resolution of the Township Council
- Perform specific duties, as defined in the ordinance, relative to proposed development
